How do I see where a photo was taken?
Upload the photo and look for the GPS section. If the camera or phone recorded location data, the coordinates are shown with a link to view the spot on OpenStreetMap. Many photos have no GPS data, especially if location services were off or the image was re-saved by an app.
Why does my image show no EXIF data?
PNGs, screenshots and images downloaded from social media usually have no EXIF — screenshots never contain camera metadata, and most platforms strip it on upload. EXIF is mainly found in original JPEG and HEIC files straight from a camera or phone.
