How do I resize an image without stretching it?
Keep the aspect-ratio lock enabled. When you change the width, the height adjusts automatically in proportion (and vice versa), so the image keeps its original shape instead of looking squashed or stretched.
Will resizing reduce the image quality?
Scaling down generally looks fine because the browser resamples the pixels smoothly. Scaling up beyond the original size cannot add detail, so enlarged images will look softer — start from the largest original you have.
